Mr. Patel's career spans over 25 years of experience in the financial and real estate sectors. His distinguished career began in institutional finance in San Francisco, where he joined Barclays Global Investors (now known as BlackRock) as a portfolio operations specialist. He quickly advanced to the role of Senior Trader and Principal, managing U.S. Market Neutral REIT and Large Cap sector portfolios, as well managing trading for their Global Market Neutral Portfolio.
Seeking to start a family and return to his roots, Mr. Patel moved to Houston and joined Koch Quantitative Trading, owned by the billionaire Koch brothers. In this role, he specialized in high-frequency and algorithmic trading for their hedge fund division. In his institutional trading career, he traded on average of $1 billion in equities and futures daily. During his tenure, he was Series 3, 63, and 7 licensed.
In the wake of the 2008 sub-prime led global recession, Mr. Patel transitioned from institutional finance to real estate. Along with his brother, he acquired RE/MAX Fine Properties and grew it from 30 Realtors to the largest single-office RE/MAX in the United States, with over 180 Realtors at its peak and annual real estate transactions totaling $800 million. He also established a property management division and an alternative investments division.
Mr. Patel has been actively involved in alternative private equity investments for the past decade. He holds a BBA in Business and Management Information Systems from Houston Baptist University.
Sharon Christodoss has over 4 years of experience in operations and property management. Sharon supports DKMP Investments in all aspects of the deal process from origination and due diligence through deal structuring and post-investment portfolio management. She has superior written and oral communication skills and is a highly detailed oriented person dealing with very large sums of money and high net worth individuals. Her ability to multi-task and handle pressure under tight deadlines makes her an outstanding asset to our organization. She also attends school full-time in the evenings studying to get her engineering degree.

His primary focus is in the areas of commercial real estate and assisting clients in acquisition, disposition, capitalization and formation of companies. Mr.

Additionally, Mr. Gandhi is Board Certified in Commercial Real Estate Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. Mr. Gandhi’s corporate law practice is devoted to formation and structuring of commercial entities in addition to acquisition, capitalization, financing and disposition, and contract review and analysis. In addition to practicing law, Mr. Gandhi believes strongly in community service. In 2012, Mr. Gandhi was elected to Sugar Land City Council and became the youngest at-large councilman in the history of the city when taking office at the age of 35. He currently is serving in his third term on City Council and has also served as the Mayor Pro-Tem.
